Christian Doctrine

Browse the NACM Manual to Ministry, a living reference equipping Christian ministers with biblical foundations, doctrine, leadership, and ministry resources.

The Christian Doctrine section presents the core theological teachings that define the Christian faith as revealed in Scripture. These doctrines articulate what the Bible teaches about God, humanity, sin, salvation, the Church, and the consummation of all things. Together, they form a coherent theological framework that guides belief, teaching, and faithful ministry.

Christian doctrine is not a collection of abstract ideas, but the systematic articulation of biblical truth drawn from the whole counsel of Scripture. Each doctrine addresses a specific area of revelation while remaining interconnected with the others. Doctrine clarifies what Scripture affirms, guards against error, and provides stability in belief and practice.

This section is designed as a reference library for ministers, teachers, students, and church leaders who seek doctrinal clarity and theological precision. It supports sermon preparation, teaching, discipleship, apologetics, and pastoral care by organizing essential doctrines into defined categories that may be studied individually or as part of a unified whole.

The doctrines listed below reflect the historic and biblical foundations of Christian theology. They address the nature and work of God, the authority of Scripture, the condition of humanity, the reality of spiritual beings, the means of redemption, the mission of the Church, and the future hope promised by God. While each doctrine may be studied independently, they are best understood in relation to one another, as together they testify to the consistency and depth of biblical revelation.

Use this section as a structured guide to the essential doctrines of the Christian faith, grounded in Scripture and intended to equip faithful teaching, sound judgment, and confident ministry.
