Marvin Schrebe, WV posted3 months, 1 week agoHi Veterans
First of all let me thank you for your service and devotion to your country. I know. If your country is an enemy of my country I may not want to thank you. However you have the guts to defend your country and that is commendable. My hat is off to you.
I am a veteran of the US Army and reside at the West Virginia Veterans Home in Barboursville WV. I find that the group of men living here are some of the finest people in the world. (I only wish more of them would respond to the gospel.) I know there is not a man here who would refuse to stand at my side and face any struggle. There is a level of friendship and bonding that no civilian would understand. I often have to chuckle because veterans from the different branches can tease and joke with each other so much you’d think we were enemies. However, let a civilian make an off handed remark about any branch of the military and every veteran here would pounce with both feet! I love these guys and I love all of you. I will stop by and say hello when I can. I am the State Coordinating Elder for West Virginia so I try to check in at least once a week. I may not be by this group as often due to work but know you are in my heart and my prayers.
